We practice meditation to consciously redirect our attention. During meditation, the mind becomes clear, relaxed, and inwardly focused. Your mind is not focused on the external world or on the events taking place around you and this inner state is still and one-pointed so that the mind becomes silent. With regular practice, you will notice improved concentration, reduced anxiety and stress and increased awareness and clarity of thought.

Yoga practice is not only about flexibility, it’s about optimal function – the balance of stability and mobility, flexibility and strength, power, range and efficiency of movement, relaxation and mindful awareness. Harmonising movement of the body with your breath helps bring grace to movement and calmness to your mind. We practice a combination of energising and restorative sessions and use a variety of poses (asanas) to increase your awareness of your body to be present with each moment.

Practicing the exciting skills of a contemporary Martial Art which, rather than relying on aggression, size or strength, builds awareness, relaxation and the elegant blending of energy with mind, body and breath. It is often described as ‘moving mindfulness’. With regular practice it enhances concentration, relaxation, co-ordination, physical and mental confidence and peace. It is a great way to access higher levels of energy, maintain a calm state and align body, mind and spirit- the peaceful way.
